This Chubb 5 Detainer 3R35 Deadlocking Mortice Latch can be modified for use as a fire escape lock by removing the facility to lock the handle.The operating handle on the insid can be secured by key from either side. The Chubb 5 Detainer 3R35 Deadlocking Mortice Latch is available keyed alike and masterkeyed with a total of 2 keys supplied. Latchbolt is withdrawn by key from either side and by lever handle from inside. When using the Chubb 5 Detainer 3R35 Deadlocking Mortice Latch Door is automatically deadlocked when closed, whilst snib can be used to hold the bolt back when it needs to be left ajar.  It is available in a silver finsh witheither brass or satin chrome forend finish. This Chubb mortice latch works on a 5 detainer mechanism.
